ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced an exciting partnership between Google Stadia online cloud gaming platform and the ROG Phone. With Stadia, ROG Phone and ROG Phone II users can stream the latest games via WiFi directly with no need for downloads. Stadia supports up to 60 fps gaming in resolutions up to 4K UHD, with HDR and 5.1-channel surround sound support.

The partnership runs until 2021, and the Stadia app will be preloaded onto every next-generation ROG Phone in participating territories that include Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States.
ASUS ROG Phone III
Along with the Google Stadia partnership, Asus has also announced that Google Stadia app will be preloaded on the upcoming next-generation ROG Phone expected to be named as ROG Phone III which is due to launch in 2020. Even though Google Stadia is supported on ROG Phone and ROG Phone II Asus is not preloading the app on both devices.

Google Standia support for more phones
Along with Google’s Pixel lineup – Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 4 and ASUS ROG Phone & ROG Phone II, Stadia now supports a few phones from Samsung and Razer. You’ll also soon be able to play Stadia Games on the recently announced Samsung’s Galaxy S20 series. Users will be able to play games on more than 20 different Android phones and also on tablets, laptops, and desktops, as well as TVs through Google Chromecast Ultra beginning February 20.
