Lava A97 2GB Plus is a bumped up version of A97 which was launched a few months ago. The major differences between both devices are the Primary Camera, OS, and Storage. The new A97 2GB Plus comes with the 8MP camera, Android Nougat and 16GB internal storage while older A97 has 5MP primary camera, Android Marshmallow and 8GB storage. Although the front cameras on both devices are same, the new variant comes with Hands-free selfie mode lets you take selfies without using the shutter button. Rest all specifications remain same.
It features a 5″ IPS display and powered by the 1.3GHz Quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It’s a Dual SIM 4G smartphone supports VoLTE and also microSD up to 32GB. The camera optics include an 8MP Autofocus sensor at the rear and 5MP sensor at the front. Both cameras are supported by LED flash.
