Xiaomi has launched an affordable 4G smartphone Redmi 4A in India at ₹ 5,999. It is made out of a single piece polycarbonate body and has a thickness of 8.5mm. It’s a Dual SIM device features a hybrid slot and also supports VoLTE. Besides, It also comes with an IR remote that supports appliances from thousands of brands.
Redmi 4A boasts a 5″ IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz along with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB RAM. The internal memory offered is 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. For connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
At the rear side, a 13MP camera coupled with a single LED flash and can shoot Full HD videos at 30fps. Also, a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. It comes with a non-removable 3120mAh battery which provides standby time up to 7 days.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A is offered in Gold, Dark Gray, and Rose Gold colors and available via Mi.com & Amazon India starting March 23 at 12 PM for ₹ 5,999. Rose Gold color is available exclusively via Mi.com starting April 6.
