After launching Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro, Xiaomi now announces enter-level Redmi 9 in Europe. It sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with Corning gorilla glass 3 on top and powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 Octa-core CPU with a 5,020mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. It is offered in two configurations – 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. The device supports Face unlock and also equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
In the camera department, the Redmi 9 comes with a Quad-camera setup on the rear side that includes a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The fingerprint scanner is also placed in-line with the quad-camera module. On the front, the device has an 8MP selfie camera housed inside a v-shaped display notch.
The Redmi 9 is offered in three colors – Carbon Grey, Sunset Green & Ocean Green, and available to buy in Spain via Mi.com and Mi Stores. It is priced at EUR 149 (Approx. ₹12,600) for the 3GB/32GB variant and EUR 179 (₹15,100) for the 4GB/64GB variant.
