Back in 2019, Samsung had introduced its first foldable smartphone dubbed as Galaxy Fold and now the brand expands its foldable lineup with the launch of Galaxy Z Flip alongside Galaxy S20 series at an event held in San Fransisco. It sports a primary 6.7-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of a 21.9:9 and made up of Samsung’s proprietary bendable Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). There is also a 1.1-inch external Super AMOLED display (Also called a cover display) to show quick notifications.
According to Samsung, the new Hideaway Hinge that folds the display is backed by a dual CAM mechanism and uses nylon fibers crafted by micro-height-cutting technology to repel dirt and dust. It is powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus Mobile Platform with 8GB RAM and equipped with a 3,300mAh battery that supports fast charging. In the camera part, the Galaxy Z Flip has 12 Dual camera setup on the rear and 10MP in-screen camera on the front.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will be available in limited quantities in three colors – Mirror Purple Mirror Black, & Mirror Gold and available to buy in select markets including the U.S. and Korea starting February 14, 2020.
