Xiaomi Increases Prices of Redmi Note 5 Pro (4GB/64GB) & Mi LED Smart TV 4 (55) in India

Xiaomi has increased the prices of its recently launched Redmi Note 5 Pro (4GB/64GB) variant and Mi LED Smart TV 4 (55-inch) in India. The 4GB variant of Radmi Note 5 Pro was initially launched at a price tag of ₹13,999 and now available at ₹14,999. The Mi TV 4 (55) was launched at ₹39,999 and now available at ₹44,999 after the price increase. As per Xiaomi, they are importing a large amount of PCBAs as their local PCBA production is not enough to meet the demand and due to the recent changes in tax structure on PCBA imports and also the depreciation of the rupee has resulted in a significant increase in costs.

Redmi Note 5 Pro Price Increase

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is sold in four hues – Black, Gold, Lake Blue, & Rose Gold and available to buy via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home in two configurations. The 4GB/64GB variant priced at ₹14,999 and the 6GB/64GB variant priced at ₹16,999. Both will be available to buy starting Tuesday, 1st May 2018 through on Mi.com, Mi Home stores, Flipkart and other offline retail stores across India (Redmi Note 4 Only). Those who have already pre-ordered Redmi Note 5 Pro (4GB/64GB) on Mi.com will get the device at the original price of ₹13,999.
