Along with the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi has also introduced its first Smart TV dubbed as Mi LED Smart TV 4 in India. As per the company, it is the world’s slimmest smart tv that has a thickness of just 4.9mm. It is powered by the Amlogic 64-bit Quad-core CPU with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU and 2GB RAM. This smart TV has an internal storage of 8GB and runs on the Android operating system with PatchWall UI. PatchWall analyses your viewing patterns and provides personalized recommendations. To provide the best content to users, Xiaomi has tied up with various content providers such as Hotstar, Voot, VIU, TVF, Flickstree, Sony Liv, Sun NXT, Alt Balaji, Zee 5 etc. As per the company, there are about 500,000+ hours of content and 80% of them are free.
For connectivity, it includes Dual USB ports, three HDMI ports, Dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, AV, S/PDIF, and an Ethernet port. You can also connect your Bluetooth headphones to this smart TV. Another key highlight is the One Remote feature that combines Smart TV and STB experience seamlessly on the TV homepage with Mi IR Cable. Even the company has made this process very simple. Connect the Mi IR Cable to the USB port of the MI TV and place the IR emitters in front of the Set-top-box. Open the TV Guide app on the Mi TV and browse your favorite channels. MI IR cable supports more than 3500 DTH/Cable operators including Airtel Digital TV, Hathway, Tata Sky, Dish TV, Videocon D2h and Sun Direct. This smart TV supports screen-mirroring and you can also control the TV using your Android smartphone.
