Oppo F5 is a selfie-centric smartphone which was first introduced in October 2017 and today Oppo has made it official in India. Oppo F5 is the successor of Oppo F3 series which was introduced a few months ago. The Oppo F5 comes with a massive 6-inch full-screen 18:9 display just like what have seen in Micromax Canvas Infinity, LG Q6, Galaxy S8 etc. It is fuelled by the MediaTek octa-core CPU coupled with a 3200mAh non-removable battery. Oppo F5 is available in two variants – 4GB RAM with 32GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage. Oppo has also provided a dedicated microSD slot that will help you to expand the device storage up to 256GB. It supports Dual SIM and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Color OS 3.2 on top.
The unique selling point of this smartphone is the A.I. powered front camera. It comes with a 20 Megapixel front camera which is powered by the Artificial Intelligence that uses about 200 positioning spots to enhance the symmetry between features like your eyes, nose, cheekbones, and jawline to create natural selfies. Furthermore, the front camera has an aperture of f/2.0 and 1/2.8” sensor which helps to capture better images with less noise in low light conditions. The rear camera has a 16MP sensor coupled with a LED flash. This device has a unibody construction with the fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear side. Other key specifications are 5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, and VoLTE support.
Oppo F5 with 4GB RAM/32GB Storage is sold in two colors – Gold & Black and priced at ₹19,999. Starting today, it will be available to pre-order via Flipkart and shipping begins 9th November 2017. The 6GB RAM/64GB Storage variant is priced at ₹24,999 and will be available starting 27th November 2017.
Update (Nov 27): Oppo F5 with 6GB RAM now available to pre-order on Flipkart. Shipping begins 1st December 2017. Similar to Oppo F5, it also comes two color options – Gold and Black.
