LG had announced the new Q series in July 2017 with the launch of three new smartphones Q6, Q6+, and Q6α. Today, the company has launched Q6 in India. It has metal body supported by a lightweight H-beam frame made up of 7000 series aluminum. The LG Q6 will carry the same FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio that has been introduced with the flagship G6. It boasts a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels which is slightly smaller than the 5.7″ display of G6. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device houses a dedicated microSD tray and supports VoLTE.
Under the hood is Snapdragon 435 Octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 3000mAh battery. Coming to the camera capabilities, Q6 has a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera with 100° Wide-angle lens. It also comes with the LG’s exclusive Square camera mode lets you share your squares or create photo collages using multiple square images. For connectivity, it includes a Micro USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. It has an inbuilt storage of 32GB and boots on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat with LG UX 6.0 on top. However, this device doesn’t include a fingerprint scanner instead, it comes with the improved face recognition feature that helps you unlock the phone quickly without typing or drawing the pattern.
The LG Q6 is offered in three color options – Astro Black, Ice Platinum, & Terra Gold and exclusively available via Amazon India at ₹ 14,990. Along with the smartphone consumers will also get 50GB of additional 4G data from Jio, One-time screen replacement and premium games worth ₹ 3,200.
