Micromax has launched its first Full Vision display smartphone Canvas Infinity in India. This technology was first introduced with high-end smartphones such as LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8. Later LG has also introduced a mid-range LG Q6 with the same display technology. Micromax Canvas Infinity sports a 5.7″ Full Vision display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Snapdragon 425 processor powers the device along with the 3GB RAM and a removable 2900mAh battery. Coming to the design, it has a removable metal back cover with the rear mounted fingerprint scanner. Opening the back cover will provide access to Dual SIM tray and a dedicated microSD slot.
In terms of camera, Canvas infinity has a 13MP primary shooter with LED flash and a 16MP front camera that offers features such as selfie flash, bokeh and beauty mode. The device also comes with Auto scene detection mode that fires up as soon as camera application is launched. It offers an internal memory of 32GB and runs on Android Nougat. Micromax has even promised Android 8.0 Oreo update that will be made available in coming months. Key connectivity features included are WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, VoLTE support, and USB OTG.
Micromax Canvas Infinity is offered in two colors – Black & Grey and exclusively available via Amazon India at ₹9,999. Registration starts today and the first sale is scheduled on 1st September 2017, at 1.30 PM onwards. Micromax is also providing 24 Hours repair or replace service via Micromax express service centers. Launch offers included are ₹250 cash back with Amazon pay balance, Up to 30GB additional Jio 4G data, 5 Kindle best sellers worth ₹375. Initially, this smartphone is only available via Amazon India and will be made available to buy through Micromax partner stores across the country in coming weeks.
