Motorola had introduced Moto e6s, the rebranded version of Moto E6 Plus in India in September 2019. Now, the brand has introduced the 2020 edition of Moto e6s with an updated design but with a downgraded front camera. The 2020 Moto e6s also falls under the entry-level segment and comes with the same 6.1-inch HD+ display and runs on MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset with a 3,000mAh battery. It has a Plastic body and equipped with a fingerprint reader on the rear side for extended security.
In the camera department, the Moto e6s 2020 comes with the same dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a downgraded 5MP camera (8MP on the previous gen.) placed inside the U-shaped notch. Depending on the region, it is available on both Single as well Dual SIM configurations and also equipped with a dedicated MicroSD slot to expand the storage upto 256GB. Other key highlights are Water-repellent design, Built-in Google Assistant and Moto Quick Gestures.
The Moto e6s 2020 comes in two colors – Peacock Blue & Sunshine Red and will be available to buy in the coming weeks in selected countries of Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Motorola hasn’t announced the pricing yet.
