This MoU will enable ISRO and OPPO India to exchange technical information of NavIC messaging services (SMS) so as to build rapid end-to-end application-specific solutions by integrating NavIC messaging service with the mobile handsets specifically tailored for Indian users. The NavIC Short Messaging feature is expected to arrive with upcoming OPPO smartphones in India in 2022.
