Xiaomi today announces a permanent price cut for its popular Android One smartphone Mi A2 in India. Starting 7th January 2019, Mi A2 4GB / 64GB variant will be available at ₹13,999 after ₹2,000 price cut and the 6GB / 128GB will be available at ₹15,999 after a ₹3,000 price cut. The New prices are applicable across Mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi Home and offline retails stores.
Mi A2 4GB RAM variant was first introduced in India in August 2018 at ₹16,999 followed by the 6GB RAM variant in October 2018 at ₹17,999. The 4GB variant had received price cut of ₹1,000 in November and now, the Xiaomi has once again reduced the prices of both variants.
To recall, the Mi A2 comes with 5.99-inch FullHD+ 18:9 display and fuelled by the Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform with a 3,010mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0. It has a 20MP+12MP dual camera setup with LED flash and a Sony-made 20MP front camera with selfie flash. For connectivity, it includes Dual SIM, Dual VoLTE support, 5GHz WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a Type-C Port.
