Update: Vivo Y91i was first introduced in India in March 2019 with two configurations – 2GB/16GB and 2GB/32GB. Now, the brand has launched 3GB/32GB variant of Vivo Y91i in India at ₹7,990. Except for the RAM, rest all specifications are the same as 2GB/32GB variant which is now available at ₹6,990. Both variants are available online as well as offline across India.
Earlier: 13th March 2019 – Vivo Y91i is a toned-down variant of Vivo Y91 which was introduced in India in January 2019. Compared to Y91, the V91i lacks a dual-camera setup and a Fingerprint Scanner. It has the same 6.22-inch HD+ waterdrop display and powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor with a 4,030mAh battery. The Vivo Y91i comes in two configurations – 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage and 2GB RAM with 32GB Storage.
In the camera department, the Vivo Y91i gets a 13MP single camera instead of a dual camera setup on the Y91 and the downgraded 5MP front camera. The camera also supports various camera modes such as HDR, Face Beauty, Slow-motion, Time-lapse, Live photos, etc. It supports Face Unlock, 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.5
The Vivo Y91i is offered in Starry Black & Fusion Blue colors and available to buy through Vivo offline retail stores across India at starting 2nd week of March 2019. The 2GB/16GB variant priced at ₹7,990 and the 2GB/32GB variant costs ₹8,490.
