After launching Y72 5G, vivo now launches yet another Y-series smartphone dubbed as vivo Y53s in India. It sports a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with a 2408 × 1080 pixels resolution and also supports the P3 color gamut. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core chipset and runs on the latest Funtouch OS 11.1 OS based on Android 11.
In the camera part, the smartphone features a Triple-camera setup on the rear side that includes a main 64 MP camera, 2MP Macro camera, and a 2MP Bokeh camera. The main camera’s GW3 image sensor boasts 64 million pixel points and outputs four-in-one 16MP by default, with an option to output 64MP. The device offers a 16MP front camera setup which is housed inside a display notch. The camera also supports various modes such as Super Night Camera, Eye Auto Focus, Ultra Stable video, Aura Screen Light, Super Night Selfie and more.
The Vivo Y53s comes with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and also supports the Extended RAM feature provides extra ROM space up to 3GB that can be used to make switching between apps even smoother and downloading the apps easier. Coming to the battery, the device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Other key highlights are Multi Turbo 5.0, Ultra Game Mode, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and USB-C port.
Vivo Y53s is offered in two colors – Deep Sea Blue & Fantastic Rainbow and priced at ₹19,490. The device will be available across vivo India e-store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, Bajaj EMI Store and also across all partner retail stores starting 9th August 2021. Like the majority of the Vivo devices, the Y53s follows vivo’s commitment to ‘Make in India’ and is manufactured at vivo’s Greater Noida facility.
