Just after launching Y53s, Vivo further expands its popular Y-series lineup with the launch of Vivo Y21 (2021) in India. It comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with a V-shaped display notch and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core chipset with 4GB of RAM. The device also offers Extended RAM 2.0 which makes use of up to 1GB idle ROM space for improved device performance.
In the camera part, the device gets a dual-camera setup on the rear side that includes a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP micro camera. For selfies, you’ll get 8MP snapper housed inside the display notch. The Vivo Y21 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Other key features are 128GB storage, a Side fingerprint sensor, Funtouch OS 11.1 with Android 11, Ultra Game Mode, Multi Turbo 5.0, and also a liquid cooling solution to keep the device cooler.
Vivo Y21 is offered in two colors – Midnight Blue & Diamond Glow and priced at ₹15,490. It will be available via the Vivo India e-store, Amazon.in and also across all partner retail stores across India starting from 20th August 2021. Like the majority of the Vivo devices, the Y21 follows Vivo’s commitment to ‘Make in India’ and is manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility.
