Back in 2018, Sony had introduced its mid-ranger Xperia L2 at MWC 2018 and now, at MWC 2019, its successor Xperia L3 goes official. It sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the MediaTek MT6762 CPU with 3GB of RAM. To protect the display against accidental drops, Sony has also wrapped the display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It houses a 3,300mAh battery that supports Sony’s Xperia Adaptive Charging that monitors your phone as it charges to keep the battery healthy.
It has a vertically stacked 13MP+2MP dual-camera on the rear and an 8MP front camera that supports Portrait selfie mode. This mode also includes a range of beauty effects, Soft skin, Skin brightness, Sharp face and also Bokeh effect. Even though there is no selfie flash, the camera uses the display flash to capture the pictures in low-light conditions. For security, it has a fingerprint scanner which is mounted on the right side of the device. Depending on the region, the Xperia L3 is available in both Single as well as Dual SIM configurations.
The Sony Xperia L3 comes in three colors – Silver, Black & Gold and available to buy in select markets starting 25th February 2019. Sony hasn’t announced the pricing yet.
