Oppo F5 Youth is a trimmed down version of Oppo F5 which was launched in India on 2nd November 2017. The major differences between Oppo F5 and Oppo f5 Youth are the RAM and Camera. The Youth edition comes with 3GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and 16MP front camera wherein Oppo F5 has 4GB/6GB RAM, 16MP rear camera, 20MP front camera. The processor, battery, and dimensions remain same on both devices. This smartphone has a unibody design and comes with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also supports Facial Unlock which allows you to unlock the phone simply by holding up the phone.
The Oppo F5 Youth sports a 6-inch 18:9 display with a resolution of 2160×1080 Pixels. It gets the power from octa-core MediaTek CPU mated with 3GB RAM and a non-removable 3200mAh battery. The internal storage offered is 32GB and that can be further expanded up to 256GB using a dedicated microSD slot. Similar to Oppo F5, it also supports Dual SIM and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2 on top. Coming to the camera, it has an A.I. powered 16MP front that supports Bokeh mode as well as Screen flash. Also, there is a 13MP rear camera coupled with a LED flash. Other key specifications are 5GHz WiFi n, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, and VoLTE support.
