OPPO India announced the rollout of a major software update for its flagship foldable phone, the Find N2 Flip to further enhances the functionality of its cover display. The newly introduced Spotify Widget is jointly developed by OPPO and Spotify exclusively for the Find N2 Flip to maximize the utility of the cover screen. With the new widget, users can now control playback, the heart button and content recommendations without unfolding their device.
Apart from the Spotify Widget, the update has also brought the Speech-to-Text quick reply feature can be accessed through the cover screen when users receive a message. All apps that enable quick reply will support Speech-to-Text, including WhatsApp, Messenger, Messages by Google, Telegram and LINE. In addition to English, the feature supports Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Punjabi and Tamil language.

This is the first major update for the OPPO Find N2 Flip since its Global launch in February 2023. The update will roll out worldwide starting mid-April (ColorOS version A.24) and will be made available to all users in batches. Speech-to-Text will automatically update, while users can manually add the Spotify widget through the screen widgets settings under “Pocket Player”.

- To set your Speech recognition language, Go to Settings -> Foldable features -> Quick reply -> Speech Recognition Language.
- To add a Spotify widget, Go to Settings -> Foldable features -> Widgets -> Pocket Player.
