OnePlus Nord 5G smartphone was introduced in India on 21st July at an aggressive starting price of ₹24,999. Now, according to Amazon India, the OnePlus Nord has emerged as the most anticipated phone ever on Amazon.in with over 4 million ‘Notify Me’ requests and has seen more interest than any other phone on Amazon.in.
Complementing the brand’s marketing efforts externally, community engagements on Amazon.in helped build momentum and drive further interest for OnePlus’ first mid-range premium smartphone. Additionally, invitations for the world’s first AR launch with OnePlus Nord went on sale on Amazon.in and were sold out within hours making this the most anticipated launch of 2020, Amazon India said in a media release.
To recall OnePlus comes with a 6.44-inch 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display and powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset mated with a 4,115mAh battery that goes from 0 to 70% in just half an hour using OnePlus’ signature Warp Charge 30T. OnePlus Nord features the same 48 MP Sony IMX586 rear camera as the OnePlus 8 and supports OIS in both photos and videos. The rear primary camera is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor.
