Update: OnePlus Nord Gray Ash Color Launch: OnePlus Nord was first introduced in India in two colors – Gray Onyx and Blue Marble. Now, OnePlus now launches a special edition of the OnePlus Nord in a new color called Gray Ash. It is available only in 12GB RAM and 256GB storage combination and priced at ₹29,999. It will be up for grabs through an early access sale for Amazon Prime members on 16th October on Amazon.in and for all users across all offline and online channels starting from 17th October 2020.
Earlier: OnePlus Nord Launch – 21st July 2020: OnePlus launches its much-anticipated mid-range smartphone OnePlus Nord at a global online event. The OnePlus Nord sports a 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz and has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla 5. It comes in three configurations – 6/64GB, 8/128GB, and 12/256GB.
Under the hood is Qualcomm’s 5G-supported Snapdragon 765G chipset mated with a 4,115mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. In the camera part, the OnePlus Nord gets a Quad-camera module on the rear that includes a primary 48MP camera aligned vertically with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera, and also 2MP depth camera. Over to front, it sports a 32MP+8MP dual-camera module which is housed inside the rectangular display cutout on the top left.
For security, the device supports Face Unlock and also equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. Just like OnePlus 7, OnePlus 8 / Pro, the OnePlus Nord also lack 3.5mm Audio Jack and MicroSD support.
