Nokia announces two entry-level smartphones – Nokia 3.1 A and Nokia 3.1 C. Both devices share the same set of specifications including the looks and also dimensions. The Nokia 3.1 A is AT&T (Pre-paid) exclusive and the Nokia 3.1 C is Cricket exclusive. These devices come with a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the Snapdragon M429 Processor with a 2,990mAh battery. Both devices offer 2GB RAM, 32GB Storage and boot on Android 9.0 Pie.
For photography, the rear camera has an 8MP f/2.0 sensor while the front camera has a 5MP f/2.2 sensor. The rear camera also supports Motion Photos feature that captures a short video clip the moment before you press the shutter button. According to Nokia, the 2,990mAh battery is powered with advanced AI features and can provide upto 2-days of battery life. Furthermore, both devices have the polycarbonate body and the company claims that the body keeps its color even when scratched. There is no fingerprint scanner on Nokia 3.1 A and also on Nokia 3.1 C.
The Nokia 3.1 A will be available in Black color at select Walmart stores starting 10th June 2019 and the Nokia 3.1 C will be available in White color at Cricket Wireless stores & CricketWireless.com starting 14th June 2019. Pricing will be made available the day of launch.
