Nokia announces Nokia 2.2, an affordable smartphone powered by the Android One program. The Nokia 2.2 comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and fuelled by the MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core CPU with a 3,000mAh battery. It is available in two configurations – 2GB RAM with 16GB Storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB Storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD slot allows you to expand the device storage upto 400GB. There is no fingerprint scanner on the Nokia 2.2 but, it supports Face Unlock.
In the camera part, this device gets a 13MP rear with LED flash and an 8MP front camera. Both the front and rear cameras support Full HD (1080p) video recording. According to Nokia, the 13 MP rear camera uses advanced low-light imaging to capture better photos regardless of the light conditions. This device also equipped with a dedicated Google Assistant button which is mounted on the left side of the frame. In terms of design, the Nokia 2.2 has a replaceable polycarbonate back panel with a glossy finish. Nokia 2.2 is an Android One certified smartphone boots on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and includes 2-years of OS upgrades and 3-years of monthly security updates. It also supports Nokia Xpress-on covers wherein you can easily swap the back cover.
Nokia 2.2 Price in India, Colors, Where to Buy
The Nokia 2.2 comes in two colors – Tungston Black and Steel and will go on sale in India starting 11th June 2019. As an introductory offer, the 2GB/16GB variant priced at ₹6,999 and the 3GB/32GB at ₹7,999 till 30th June 2019. Starting 1st July 2019, the Nokia 2.2 will retail at 7,699 for 2GB/16GB and 8,699 for 3GB/32GB. Pre-orders on Nokia.com/phones starts from 6th June until 10th June 2019 and five lucky buyers will get 100% cashback on their purchase during the period.
