Micromax has launched a new phablet Canvas Mega 2 Plus in India at ₹ 7,499. It is an upgraded version of Canvas Mega 2 which was launched in May 2016. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device features a dedicated microSD slot and also support VoLTE.
Canvas Mega 2 Plus has a massive 6″ IPS display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and powered by 1.3GHz Quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Other specifications include the 3000mAh Battery, 8MP Rear Camera, 5MP Front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio. This smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and capable of recording Full HD videos at 30fps. You can also extend the 16GB internal memory up to 32GB via microSD card.
Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus sold in Black color and available to buy via Micromax authorized retailers for ₹ 7,499. It also comes bundled with free Jio SIM. You can also buy this smartphone online via Poorvika Mobile.

Difference Between Micromax Canvas Mega 2 and Mega 2 Plus
The major differences include RAM, Internal Memory, and Android version. Mega 2 has 1GB RAM, 8GB Storage, and runs on Android Lollipop while Mega 2 Plus comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB Storage, and boots on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Rest all specifications including looks and dimensions are same.
