After teasing it on social media for a couple of days, Jio announces special ₹401 Pack with free 1-year of Disney+ Hotstar VIP Subscription to compete Airtel’s ₹401 recharge pack. Alongside free subscription to Display+ Hotstar VIP, the newly launched Jio ₹401 pack offers 3GB data per day for 28 days, an additional 6GB data, and also unlimited voice calls & SMS with FUP.
Along with ₹401 pack, Jio also announces ₹2,599 Annual recharge and ₹612 and ₹1208 Data add-on packs. All three packs also come with free 1-year of Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription. The ₹2,599 plan offers with 740GB of data (2GB per day with an additional 10GB data), 365 days validity, unlimited calling & SMS with FUP, and also a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.
Coming to the data add ons, the ₹1208 Add-on (8 vouchers of ₹151) provides 240GB data for 240 days wherein the ₹612 Add-on (12 vouchers of ₹51) provides 72GB data with reference to the base plan and also 6,000 minutes voice call to Non-Jio numbers.
Jio ₹401 Pack vs Airtel ₹401 Pack
Airtel has also recently launched ₹401 prepaid pack with free 1-year of Disney+Hotstar VIP subscription. Both plans offer Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription at no additional cost but have its own advantages. Jio will offer more data but Airtel provides unrestricted subscription benefits. In Airtel, there is no monthly recharge needed, once you recharge with ₹401, even when your prepaid plan gets over, the subscription to Disney+ Hotstar service remains valid for 365 days. But, in terms of Jio, the user needs to be on any active plan. Means, you’ll not be able to use the Disney+Hotstar VIP subscription, if your Jio number doesn’t have the validity.
