In 2024, itel has once more left a considerable mark with the introduction of the year’s inaugural smartphone, known as the itel A70. This device boasts an impressive 256GB storage capacity with 12GB Dynamic RAM, all available at an affordable price of ₹7,299. The itel A70 arrives in a compact package, comprising a handset, an 18W power adapter, a high-quality USB-A to USB-C cable, a SIM ejector pin, Manuals, and an all-black plastic case. As an added bonus, itel is providing a complimentary pre-applied screen protector with the device for added convenience.
The itel A70 boasts an all-plastic construction, with plastic quality akin to that of the itel P55 5G. The rear panel features a shiny, glossy texture, providing a premium feel to the design. The dual-camera setup is positioned at the top left, arranged in three distinct circular blocks, along with the LED flash for a sleek and stylish appearance. The dual camera setup includes a 13MP Super HDR primary camera supported by a secondary AI camera. The rear camera supports one 180P@30fps video recording, Portrait mode, Pro mode, Low light mode, etc.
On the left side of the frame, you’ll find a triple slot tray, while the right side houses the power button and volume rockers. The power button also serves as a fingerprint reader, allowing you to unlock the device swiftly. The SIM tray accommodates two Nano SIM cards and a microSD card for expandable storage.

The itel A70 is offered in four colors – Field Green, Azure Blue, Brilliant Gold, and Starlish Black. The 64GB variant is priced at ₹6,299, the 128GB at ₹6,799, and the top-end 256GB at ₹7,299. The itel A70 will be exclusively available online via Amazon India and also thorugh offline stores across India starting 5th January 2024.
