itel has made its entry into the 15,000 segment with the launch of the itel S23+, following the introduction of the budget-friendly itel P55 Power 5G, priced at less than 10,000. According to itel, the S23+ is India’s inaugural smartphone featuring a 3D curved AMOLED display in the 15K price range. The device features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 3D AMOLED Curved display and includes an in-display fingerprint reader for enhanced security. The display is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Running on the Unisoc T616 octa-core processor, the device is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, it incorporates Memory Fusion technology, which expands the available RAM by an additional 8GB. In terms of photography, the itel S23+ boasts a dual-camera arrangement on the rear, featuring a 50MP primary camera with support from an AI camera.
On the front, it houses a 32MP camera equipped with an LED flash, enhancing the quality of low-light selfies. Other key features are a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, G-Sensor, Android 13, 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, and 7.9mm slip depth body.
itel S23+ Pricing and Availability
The itel S23+ is offered in two colors – Elemental Blue & Lake Cyan and is priced at ₹13,999. It goes on sale on Amazon India on 6th October 2023. It will also be available through retail stores across India in the last week of October 2023. Those who purchase the device in offline stores can opt for finance options with leading NBFC (Bajaj & Home Credit) and payment aggregators (Pine Labs, PayTM, and Ezetap).
