After launching Mate 9 in November 2016, Huawei silently announces a mid-range smartphone Mate 9 Lite. When compared with Mate 9, Huawei has made few changes in the design as well as specs. It’s an all-metal unibody smartphone features a Dual camera setup with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Mate 9 Lite flaunts a 5.5″ full HD display and powered by 2.1GHz Kirin octa-core processor with 3 / 4 GB of RAM. In the Dual camera setup, 12MP camera is made up of 1.25μm large pixel sensor with 2MP secondary camera. The 8MP front camera is made up of wide angle lens and it also supports automatic facial recognition. Other specs include 3340mAh battery, Expandable storage up to 256GB, EMUI 4.1 based on Android Marshmallow and Phone status
indicator.
Huawei Mate 9 Lite available in Gray, Silver, and Gold color options. There are two memory variants. 3GB RAM variant comes with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM variant comes with 64GB storage. Huawei yet to announce the price and availability.
