A few days back, Huawei had introduced three Flagship smartphones dubbed as Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ with an impressive camera tech. Now, Huawei’s e-brand Honor also announces the new HONOR 30 Series 5G-supported smartphones which include HONOR 30, HONOR 30 Pro, and HONOR 30 Pro+. Basically, the Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro+ look exactly the same but with a different camera setup on the rear side. The Honor 30 has a different spec sheet compared to the other two. Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+
The Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro+ both flaunt the same 6.57-inch OLED waterfall display with a screen refresh rate of 60Hz and 90Hz respectively. Under the hood is Kirin 990 5G chipset mated with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging. Additionally, the Honor 30 Pro+ variant supports 27W wireless fast charging. Both devices are offered with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. Furthermore, Both devices are also equipped with the VC liquid cooling system for improved thermal performance and fitted with dual stereo speakers for better audio, video, and gaming experience.
The most highlighting part of Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro+ is the rear triple camera setup. The only difference between both devices is the Primary camera. The Honor 30 Pro comes with a 40MP Sony IMX600 primary camera while the Honor 30 Pro+ gets a 50MP Sony IMX700 primary camera. Both devices include the same secondary 8MP telephoto camera with 50x digital zoom / 10x hybrid zoom / 5x optical zoom and and same tertiary 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
The HONOR 30 Pro+ can capture 4K UHD videos at 60fps, 720p Super slow-motion capture at 1920fps and 1080p slow-motion capture at 60fps/960fps. Coming to the front, both devices come with Dual-selfie camera setup with 32MP primary camera supported by an 8MP camera housed inside the rectangular display cutout on the top left.
Honor 30
The Honor 30 sports a 6.53-inch OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and fuelled by the Huawei’s own Kirin 985 chipset with the same 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging. It offers 6GB or 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB internal storage and boots on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1.1 on top.
In terms of camera, the HONOR 30 is backed by a Quad-camera setup on the rear with a 40-megapixel primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with 50x zoom and also a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, the device gets a 32MP selfie camera housed inside a circular cutout on the top left.
