Huawei announces much-awaited P40 series, the successor of last year’s P30 series at an online global event held on 26th March. The Huawei P40-series includes three smartphones – P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+. In general, the P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ share the same set of specifications with a couple of changes in camera and battery technology wherein the P40 has downgraded specs compared to the other two. In short, Triple camera on P40, Quad-camera on P40 Pro and Penta camera on P40 Pro+.

Both Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ are equipped with the HUAWEI’s latest Quad-curve Overflow Display that has a curved edge on all four sides with super-narrow bezels and streamlined round corners ensure an ergonomic hold and a near borderless look. The P40 sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display wherein the P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ feature a 6.58-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

As usual, the most highlighting part of Huawei 40 series is the Advanced Ultra Vision Leica camera system. The HUAWEI P40 features a with ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses and the HUAWEI P40 Pro comes with a Leica Quad Camera with a more powerful Ultra Wide Cine Camera and ToF Camera alongside 50x SuperSensing Zoom. The most advanced HUAWEI P40 Pro+ equipped with a SuperZoom Array which supports 10x true optical zoom and 100x maximum digital zoom.
