Amid the Coronavirus outbreak, almost all schools and colleges in India have directed the students to stay at home to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. In order to help the students and the teacher, popular document scanning app CamScanner announced that it will provide free access of its Premium Subscription to the Educator and Students till 30th June 2020.
Using the CamScanner Premium features, Students, as well as Teachers, will be able to avail of all the premium services of the app such as HD scan file without watermark, Edit PDFs and make annotations, etc. Users will also be able to use other premium features like OCR with translation, File arrangement, E-signature, Excel recognition, Photo to Excel conversion, Book scan, etc. without any cost.
How to avail free CamScanner subscription?
- Download CamScanner through Google Play or Apple Store
- Sign Up or Sign in using your school email ID
- Once you sign into the app, you’ll get a pop-up like shown below
- Tap on the Read more and then tap on Activate Now
- That’s it. Use the premium features till 30th June 2020 without any cost.
Note: To avail of the free services, your school address or domain should be in the CamScanner whitelist. There won’t be any problem if your school E-mail Id ends with .edu. and you will get the premium subscription without any additional process. In case if your e-mail ID doesn’t end with .edu, ask your faculty or administration representative to reach CamScanner support through Facebook or Twitter to add your school e-mail domain into the whitelist.
