TCL has today launched world’s first Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone Alcatel 1X at MWC 2018. To provide a high-quality user experience, this device comes preloaded with specially optimized light-weight Google apps such as Google Go, Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Maps Go, etc and also a specially optimized version of Google Play Store. It sports a 5.3-inch FWVGA display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and powered by the MediaTek quad-core processor mated with 1GB of RAM. Depending upon the market, it is available in Single and Dual SIM configurations with or without the fingerprint scanner. It also supports Face Key also called as Face Recognition.
In terms of camera, this smartphone has a 13MP or 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera with LED flash on the both and also supports various camera modes such as Social, Instant College, Photo Booth, Social Square etc. It has a 2460mAh battery that can provide up to 547 hours of standby time. Other key specifications are Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, WiFi n, VoLTE support, and FM Radio. To provide better user experience, Alcatel has also included One-handed mode lets you change the camera settings and snap effortlessly.
The Alcatel 1X will be sold in four colors – Gold and Rose Gold with Satin finish, Dark Grey and Dark Blue with Suede finish.
