A New System Update Available for Zenfone Max M2 and Zenfone Max Pro M2 [Download Links]

Asus has started rolling out a new system update for its recently launched Zenfone Max M2 and Zenfone Max Pro M2 in India. The new FOTA update includes December 2018 Google security patches, Camera improvements along with other bug fixes & performance improvements. Find the full changelog below.

Zenfone Max M2 Changelog – v15.2016.1812.145

• Upgraded Google security patches for December 2018
• Improved Fingerprint registration
• Optimized Camera performance
• Enable Front Camera – EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization)

Zenfone Max Pro M2 Changelog – v15.2016.1812.179

• Upgraded Google security patches for December 2018
• Optimized Camera Interface
• Upgraded Touch-screen Firmware
• Optimized text translation
• Enhanced noise reduction on FM Radio

Asus has also confirmed that both updates are rolling out batch by batch and not everyone will receive the update at the same time. The update will be rolled out to a few random users first and it will expand to other users gradually over a couple of days.
