Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 4 in India starting at ₹ 9,999. It features an aluminum unibody design with 2.5D glass and the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The speaker grill is placed at the bottom and the curve near the edges provides better gripping. It’s a Dual SIM 4G device features a Hybrid slot and supports microSD up to 128GB.
It has a 5.5″ IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and the pixel density of 401ppi. Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SOC paired with 2/3/4GB of RAM. Redmi Note 4 is also the first global variant to feature a Snapdragon 625 processor. It packs a 4100 mAh battery and as per xiaomi, it has 25% more battery life when compared with Redmi Note 3. It runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and can be upgradable to Android 7.0 Nought in coming weeks.
The rear camera has a 16MP CMOS sensor coupled with the dual LED Flash and supports PDAF, Full HD recording and also Slow motion video. On the front, 5MP selfie shooter comes with the 17 real-time filters along with 36 beauty profiles. It also supports facial recognition and full-HD video recording.
