Xiaomi Mi VR Play Headset Launched in India for ₹ 999

Xiaomi India launches Mi VR Play headset in India for ₹ 999. It was first introduced in China earlier in August and today Xiaomi’s VP Hugo Barra announced it in Mi Pop-up event held in Mumbai. It’s a virtual reality headset fully compatible with Google Cardboard.

It comes with a two-way zipper design which protects your smartphone from slipping. This lightweight VR headset is made up of Lycra material which provides better comfort while watching videos for longer durations. Rubber strips are provided inside the headset to restrict the phone movement and also prevents accidental presses. It also features anti-reflective lenses for best image quality.

Mi VR Play is compatible with most of the phones with displays ranging from 4.7 to 5.7 inches. It is priced at ₹ 999 and exclusively available via Mi Store starting December 21 at 12 PM. Make a note that, the Mi VR Play Indian variant comes without the Head strap as compared to the Chinese variant.
