After a very long wait, Xiaomi finally launches its first Laptop in India at a Global online launch held on 11th June 2020. There are two laptops – Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition. Both laptops come under the 14-inch category and feature an all-metal body design. Let’s check out all the other details in detail below.

Mi Notebook 14
The regular Mi Notebook 14 sports a 14-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and has a screen-to-body ratio of 81.2%. All three variants are powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core i5 -10210U processor with 8GB RAM onboard. The base variant has 256GB SSD storage wherein the other two comes with 512GB of SSD storage. Coming to the ports, the Mi Notebook equipped with 2 High-speed USB 3.1 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, 1 HDMI 1.4b port, and also a 3.5mm jack which doubles as a headphone and a mic in.

Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition
Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition sports a 14-inch Full HD Horizon display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. The Horizon Edition has two variants – Base variant has an Intel Core i5-10210U processor wherein the top-end variant has Intel Core i7-10510U processor. Both variants come with 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD Storage. It is equipped with 2 High-speed USB 3.1 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, 1 HDMI 1.4b port, and also a 3.5mm jack. Additionally, the Intel Core i7 variant has a dedicated USB Type-C port for data transfer. Both variants are backed by a 46Wh battery with a 65W charger and can provide up to 10 hours of battery life. According to Xiaomi, these can charge from 0 to 50% in just 35 minutes.

Mi Blink and Mi Share
Both Mi Notebook 14 and Horizon Edition support a unique feature called Mi Blink that helps you unlock the laptop using your Mi Band in 1.2 seconds. Also, the Mi Share feature allows you to quickly transfer photos, videos, etc. from your smartphone to your laptop.
Both laptops will be available to buy via Amazon.in and mi.com starting 17th June, 12 PM. Make a note that, Xiaomi has mentioned that, the pricing of the standard 14-inch variant is introductory and is only till 16th July 2020. The price will go up after that. Also as a limited time offer, buyers can avail ₹2,000 discounts on HDFC cards and No-cost EMI up to 9-month. Also, both regular and Horizon editions don’t include a built-in webcam, instead, Xiaomi is bundling an external webcam with every laptop. You’ll have to connect it to the laptop using the USB port if needed.
