Mumbai Police Supported by Vodafone to Make Ganesh Visarjan Safer

To make the GANESH VISARJAN safer, telecom operator Vodafone Idea Limited has teamed up with the Mumbai Police to enable drone surveillance at crucial locations across the Mumbai city on 6 Sep (5th day), 7 Sep (6th day), 12 Sep (11th day) and 13 Sep (12th day). More than 15 lakh devotees are expected at Juhu Chowpatty, Girgaon Chowpatty, and Ashish Talao Chembur locations during Ganesh Visarjan and Vodafone enabled Drones to provide live feed in Police CCTV monitoring room.

These drones are equipped with high definition video cameras, and the video feed generated will be live-streamed to the Mumbai Police’s state-of-the-art control room using Vodafone’s seamless 4G network. These drones will be doing aerial patrolling at the above-mentioned three prominent Visarjan locations in Mumbai.
