Just after launching the Vivo X21 with In-display fingerprint scanner, Vivo launches Vivo Y83 which was first introduced in China a few days back. It sports a massive 6.22-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and also has a display notch. Under the hood is octa-core MediaTek P22 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and a non-removable 3,260mAh battery. Along with the Face Unlock, Vivo has also provided a fingerprint scanner that is mounted on the rear side of the device. The fingerprint scanner can also be used to take pictures.
Coming to the camera, the Vivo Y83 has a 13MP f/2.2 rear with PDAF support and an 8MP front camera with A.I. Beauty. The A.I. technology identifies your Age, Gender, Texture, Lighting etc and applies the pre-defined beauty filters for natural looking pictures. Other key features are the Game mode, Dedicated microSD slot, Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz WiFi, GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG. It’s supports Dual SIM, VoLTE and boots on Android Oreo with Vivo’s FunTouch OS on top.
