Vivo has launched a new 4G smartphone Vivo Y55S in India at ₹ 12,490. It’s an upgraded version of Vivo Y55L which was launched in October 2016. This device dimensions are same as Y55L with few changes in the specifications. It’s a dual SIM 4G device features a dedicated microSD slot and also support VoLTE. It runs on Android Marshmallow but lacks a fingerprint scanner.
Vivo Y55S has a 5.2″ Scratch Resistant 2.5D glass display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and powered by 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 Quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM. The camera department has 5MP front camera and 13MP rear camera coupled with a LED flash. Both cameras are capable of recording full HD videos at 30fps. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, and also USB OTG. It houses a 2730mAh battery and provides standby time up to 250 Hours.
Vivo Y55S is offered in Crown Gold and Space Grey colors and available to buy via Vivo certified retailers starting February 26.
