Just after launching Vivo V20 Pro, Vivo announces vivo Y51, a mid-range smartphone in India. It comes with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a V-shaped display notch and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core CPU coupled with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. According to Vivo, when fully charged, the vivo Y51 can provide up to 14.3 hours of online HD movie streaming, or 7.26 hours of resource-intensive games.
In the camera department, the Y51 gets a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle camera and 2MP macro cameras. On the front it has the 16MP camera housed inside the v-shaped display notch. For security, vivo Y51 supports face unlock and also comes with a fingerprint sensor which embedded inside the power button. Other key features are 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, dedicated MicroSD slot and also reverse charging.
The Vivo Y51 comes in two colors – Sapphire and Symphony and priced at ₹17,990. It will go sale through online channels such as Amazon.in, Flipkart, etc. and also through offline retail strows across India 8th December 2020. Like most of the recently announced vivo smartphones, Vivo Y51 will also be manufactured at vivo ’s Greater Noida facility under Make in India program.
