Update (New variant launch): Just a few days after the launch, Vivo now announces the Vivo Y20 in 6GB RAM & 64GB Storage configuration at ₹13,990. It comes in an all-new Purist Blue color along with Obsidian Black priced and available across offline stores, vivo E-store, and other major ecommerce portals starting 24th September. The Y20 is also available in a 4+64GB in Purist Blue, Obsidian Black & Dawn White at ₹12,990.
Earlier: 17th September 2020- Launch – Vivo launches Vivo Y20 and Vivo Y20i, two new entry-level smartphones with triple camera in India. Both devices share almost same set of specifications except Charging tech, Storage and RAM. Both Y20 and Y20i come with 6.51-inch HD+ Halo FullView display with a v-shaped display notch and powered by the Snapdragon 460 octa-core processor with a non-removable 5,000mAh battery.
In the camera part, these come with triple camera setup comprises of 13MP primary camera, 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, Vivo Y20 & Y20i both equipped with 8MP camera that is positioned in the display notch. Both supports face unlock and also equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Other key features are Android 10 with FunTouch OS 10.5, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, 5GHz WiFi, Micro USB port.
The Vivo Y20 comes in two colors – Dawn White & Obsidian Black and priced at ₹12,990. Similarly, Vivo Y20i comes in Dawn White & Nebula Blue color options and priced at ₹11,490. It will go on sale via Vivo eStore, Amazon.in, and also through offline retail stores across India. Vivo Y20 sale starts from 28th August, while the Y20i will be available to purchase starting 3rd September.
