Vivo is all set to launch its next camera-centric smartphone Vivo V17 in India on 9th December 2019 at an event in New Delhi. The brand has already teased a few key specifications including the In-screen front camera and 48MP AI Quad Rear Camera. Now, a source familiar with the development has shared a promotional material with GizArena that includes the pricing of Vivo V17. In India, the Vivo V17 8GB/128GB variant is priced at ₹22,990.
In India, Vivo V17 comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ E3 Super AMOLED Display (Vivo calls it as iView Display) and has an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Processor with a non-removable 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Vivo V17 is said to be offered in 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage configuration with two colors to choose from – Glacier Ice and Midnight Ocean.
The unique selling point of Vivo V17 is its camera. It has a punch hole design and a 32MP front camera is placed inside a small display cutout on the top right of the display. On the rear side, the Vivo V17 has a Quad-camera setup arranged in an L-shaped pattern. The setup includes a primary 48MP camera, an 8MP Ultra-wide camera, a 2MP dedicated macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. It also comes with a dedicated MicroSD slot to expand the device storage and an in-display fingerprint scanner for extended security. Both front and rear cameras support Super Night Mode and the rear camera supports Ultra Stable Video.
