vivo today officially announced that it is launching a brand new mid-range smartphone series called Series T in India. The vivo T1 5G will be the smartphone under the Series T and it’s launching on 9th February 2022. According to Vivo, the vivo T1 5G offers multi-dimensional turbo performance with a trendy design to meet the needs of Gen Z users and it will be the fastest and the slimmest 5G smartphone in the sub 20K category.
Apart from the name, vivo has not announced any specifications of vivo T1 5G. But, the teaser on vivo’s official website gives a few hints about the features of the upcoming smartphone. According to the teaser, the vivo T1 5G comes with a high-refresh-rate display, triple camera setup, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 processor. The smartphone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader and an improved cooling system to keep the phone’s temperature under control.
The phone is expected to arrive in multiple colors and also multiple RAM/storage configurations. The vivo T1 5G is Flipkart-exclusive and will be made available via vivo.com and other mainline channels across India. Just like most of the vivo smartphones, the vivo T1 5G is also part of vivo’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and will be manufactured at vivo’s Greater Noida facility. Stay tuned for more details.
