Vivo expands its mid-range smartphone lineup with the launch of new S-series in India. Vivo S1 is the first S-series smartphone boasts a 6.38-inch Full HD+ display with a dewdrop-styled notch and powered by the MediaTek octa-core SoC with a 4,5000mAh battery that supports Dual-engine fast charging. Its a Dual SIM 4G smartphone runs on the Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouch OS 9 on top.
In the camera department, the Viso S1 comes with the same camera setup which is present on the recently launched Vivo Z1 Pro. On the rear side vivo S1 has a 16MP+8MP+2MP triple camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera on the front housed inside the notch. The Vivo S1 comes in two colors – Diamond Black & Skyline Blue and will be available in offline stores across India starting 8th August 2019 and online channels including Vivo Estore, Amazon.in, and Flipkart starting 14th August 2019. The 4GB/128GB variant priced at ₹17,990, 6GB/64GB at ₹18,990, and the high-end 6GB/128GB at ₹19,990. Vivo has also confirmed that the Vivo S1 will be manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility under Make In India initiative.
