Japan-based VAIO forays into the Indin laptop market with the launch of two new laptops dubbed Vaio E15 and Vaio SE14. Hong Kong-based Nexstgo Company Limited has a licensing agreement with Vaio for manufacturing, sales, and marketing as well as servicing of VAIO laptops under the VAIO trademark in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Middle East markets, and now in India.
Both laptops come bundled with the Windows 10 Home, Microsoft Office 365 subscription, and also a 3-in-1 sleeve. The Vaio E14 is offered in two variants – AMD Ryzen 5 & AMD Ryzen 7 while the Vaio SE14 is powered by Intel Core i5 8th generation CPU. Both models will be available to buy exclusively via Flipkart starting 15th Jan 2021. Check out all the details below.
Vaio E15 comes with a 15.6-inch FHD IPS narrow bezel display and offered in two processor configurations – AMD Ryzen 5 with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics and AMD Ryzen 7 with Radeon RX Vega 10 Graphics. Both variants come with 64-bit Windows 10, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Dolby Audio Premium with Smart Amplifier and also equipped with a USB Type-C port with PD 3.0 Charging support, Dual USB 3.0 ports, and a Micro HDMI port.
Viao E15 (both variants) comes in two color options – Black and Silver and priced at ₹49,990 and ₹56,990 respectively.
Vaio SE14 sports a minimalist design and equipped with a full HD IPS 14-inch anti-glare display. It is capable of providing a battery life up to 13 hours and also supports quick charging. According to Vaio, the battery gets charged upto 70% under 1 hour. The laptop offers Windows 10, Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and also equipped with two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and an HDMI port.
It weighs about 1.35kgs and backed by 4-Speaker system (Top-firing dual speakers, Down-firing dual speakers) for an improved audio experience. The laptop is made out of metal chassis to enhance the body’s structure and strength and has an Ergo Lift hinge that automatically raises the laptop easily when opened with one hand along with bringing the keyboard to an ideal typing angle. Just like Vaio E15, the SE14 also comes with Dolby Audio Premium support with Smart Amplifier for an enhanced audio experince.
Furthermore, the Vaio SE14 also supports Windows Hello and allows you to unlock the laptop in just two seconds using the built-in fingerprint reader. Vaio SE14 comes in two colors – Red Copper & Dark Gray and priced at ₹62,990.
