Tecno Mobile enters the 5G segment with the launch of Tecno POVA 5G in India. It’s a special edition smartphone that includes a logo of Manchester City FC (Man City) on its back panel. It comes with a 6.9-inch full HD+ Dot-in display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and has a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. The phone has a higher 120Hz refresh rate and also supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The Tecno Pova 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with 6000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. According to Tecno, the device is capable of providing up to 32 days standby time, 55 hours of voice calling, and up to 183 hours of music playback with improved AI battery lab 2.1. The device charges from 0 to 50% in 33 minutes with supplied 18W power adapter.
Tecno POVA 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup on the rear side that includes a 50MP f/1.6 primary camera supported by a 2MP macro camera and an AI lens. On the front, the device gets a 16MP selfie camera and also includes a Dual Flash. The device supports various camera features such as Night mode and EIS, Wide selfie, AI portrait, AI beauty, 4K Time-lapse, 960FPS Slow motion, Video stabilization, Video bokeh, Video beauty, and many more.
The device runs on HiOS 8.0 based on Android 11 and includes many localized features such as Visha player, Master of language (MOL), Video editor, Smart cards, App turbo 2.0, Vault 2.0, Smart panel 2.0, Kids mode, Social turbo with video assistant, photo compressor, Ultra battery saver, Anti-theft mode, etc.
