Spotify Officially Launched in India

Finally, after a long wait, Spotify officially launched in India. You can download the Spotify app from Google Play and Apple App Store. In India, Spotify comes with various features such as Multi-language music recommendations, Spotify Free with full control, Playlist specially made for India, City Playlists etc. Spotify also said that they have fine-tuned the new features to meet the Indian music fans’ personal tastes. Users can opt for Spotify Free with full control and Premium plans start from 119 per month.

Spotify In Hero

The Spotify Playlists made for India includes Indiestan,Rap 91, Namaste Love, Punjabi101, and Bollywood Butter, as well as Top Hits in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Punjabi. Also, Spotify’s music recommendation engine can be tuned to Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. Indian users can select their preferred language to receive tailored Daily Mix, Home, Radio, and Search results and recommendations. Furthermore, Spotify also supports City playlists wherein users can easily find out what’s hot in each city, with new algorithmic playlists in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangaluru, and Chennai.
