Sony India announced its lightest wireless in-ear headphones with Dolby Atmos dubbed as Sony WI-C100 in India. These neckband headphones offer up to 25 hours of non-stop music and also support fast charging. According to Sony, a 10- minute charge will give you up to 60 minutes of extra playtime. These headphones are IPX4-certified and provides protection from splashes and sweat.
With a Sony WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter connected to a BRAVIA XR TV, these headphones create the ideal arrangement of phantom speakers all around you to provide you with the Dolby Atmos experience. Additionally, The WI-C100 comes with DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) to deliver premium quality sound. This restores high-frequency sound and fine fade-out sound to the track you’re listening to provide an improved audio experience.
Along with 360 Reality Audio, The WI-C100 also supports the Headphones Connect app and allows you to choose from various presets to match the genre of music you’re listening to, or create and save your custom presets using the equalizer feature. You’ll also get an inline controller that allows you to play, stop, or skip through tracks and adjust the volume, and offer an easy way to access voice assistants – Google Assistant or Siri.
In terms of connectivity, these headphones support Fast Pair which makes it easy to pair your headphones with your Android devices. With one tap of pop-up guidance, the WI-C100 headphones enable quick, effortless Bluetooth pairing with your Android devices. Also, you can easily locate where you left your headphones by ringing them or checking their last known location on your smartphone.
Furthermore, these headphones also support Swift Pair makes it quick and easy to pair your WI-C100 headphones with your Windows 11 and Windows 10 computer via Bluetooth. Pop-up pairing guidance appears on nearby Windows 11 and Windows 10 devices when pairing mode is selected.
The Sony WI-C100 is offered in four colors – White, Black, Blue & Toupe and will be available across Sony Center, Sony Exclusive stores, ShopatSC.com, Amazon.in and also through major electronic stores and other e-commerce websites in India from 18th July 2022 onwards. For a limited time, these headphones will be available at an introductory price of ₹1,699 compared to the MRP of ₹2,799.
