Sony India today announced the launch of its newest TWS earbuds called WF-C700N in India. The earbuds support Noise-cancelling technology and allow you to filter out the background noise with noise cancelling or use the Ambient Sound Mode to stay connected to your natural surroundings. In Ambient Sound mode, the feedforward mics capture more of the ambient sound around you and let you enjoy a natural listening experience while staying connected to the surrounding environment.
You can personalize the settings within the Headphones Connect app or use the Focus on Voice setting to chat without removing your earbuds. The WF-C700N headphones offer a notable feature called Adaptive Sound Control, which intelligently adapts ambient sound settings based on your location and activities. By recognizing your frequently visited places like your workplace, the gym, or café, the headphones automatically switch sound modes to suit the specific situation.

According to Sony, it has designed the WF-C700N earbuds by utilizing extensive ear shape data collated since it introduced the world’s first in-ear headphones in 1982 and evaluation of the sensitivity of various types of ears. The earbuds come with a cylindrical charging case that is small and easy to carry around in a pocket or bag. The case also has a geometrically patterned texture for a stylish, luxurious look and feel.

These earbuds also support a Multipoint connection feature that allows you to connect these earbuds to pair with two Bluetooth devices at the same time. This means, when a call comes in, the earbuds know which device is ringing and connects to the right one automatically. Other key features are Improved call quality with wind noise reduction structure, Up to 15 hours of battery life, Fast charging (10 mins of charge for up to 1 hour of playback), Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, and With IPX4 splash-proof and sweat-proof design.
The Sony WF-C700N is offered in four colors – Black, White, Lavender, and Sage Green and priced at ₹8,999. It will be available across Sony retail stores, the ShopatSC portal, major electronic stores, and other e-commerce websites like Amazon India starting 15th July 2023 onwards.
