Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 is the upgraded version of Galaxy J2 2017 which was introduced in India in October 2017. Its an entry-level smartphone comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display and powered by the 1.4GHz Snapdragon quad-core CPU with a 2600mAh battery. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and still runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. This smartphone also comes preloaded with Samsung Mall service that lets users shop by clicking a picture of the desired product and automatically getting results for the item across popular e-commerce platforms.
In the camera department, it has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera with selfie flash. The device also has an advanced Device Maintenance feature that automatically optimizes the device performance and a memory saving feature that automatically directs content from social media applications to the external memory card. There is no fingerprint scanner on Galaxy J2 2018.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 is offered in three hues – Gold, Black & Pink and priced at ₹8,190. It will be available to buy Online as well as offline retail stores across India starting 27th April 2018. Additionally, buyers can avail Jio cashback of ₹2,750 in their MyJio account on recharging with ₹198 or ₹299 plan. They would also get an extra 10GB of 4G data on every recharge for the next 10 recharges.
